The maritime branch of the Guardia Civil found two large, illegal fishing nets just off the Tesorillo beach. Both nets were anchored to the beach and neither had any markers (buoys) to indicate their presence as a hazard.

The Guardia Civil regularly patrol the 75 kilometres of the province’s coastline in search of such illegal fishing apparatus or evidence of drug smuggling.
