The Asiatic seaweed, Rugulopteryx Okamurae (Dictyotales, Ochrophyta) is an invasive species and is beginning to cause a lot of headaches along our coastline.
Illegal Fishing Nets Found

The maritime branch of the Guardia Civil found two large, illegal fishing nets just off the Tesorillo beach. Both nets were anchored to the beach and neither had any markers (buoys) to indicate their presence as a hazard.
