Serial Killer Caught?

(Province of Malaga) A man who was arrested in the province of Malaga for the murder of two women could be a serial killer with other victims.

The man, who was using a false Republic of Eire passport, confessed (according to Ideal 26/09/11) to the two murders; one in Mijas and the other in San Pedro.

After being arrested on the 24th of this month, doubt was soon cast on his true identity and further investigation found that he was in fact 44-year-old A.S., who has a Moroccan father and a German mother, and is in Spain illegally.

Examination of his criminal record also uncovered that he was sentenced to 18 years’ imprisonment for murdering a woman in 1988 in Germany. The victim died from a head wound received whilst being mugged.

The two recent Spanish murder victims, both women, were also robbed of their valuables. His modus operandi, is reported to be, contacting prostitutes via telephone and arranging to meet them at their homes. These telephone calls are precisely what has led to his downfall, as they were traced back to his telephone.

The accused allegedly knew the first victim, 45-year-old, Susana M.F., of Argentinian origin, although a naturalised Spanish citizen. He had used her services on several occasions and during police questioning he admitted to being present at the murder scene (205 Mansions Alamar, Mijas Costa) on the night of the crime; 10th August.

Once there, A.S. allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and according to his statement, he stabbed her until she revealed the pin code of her credit card. He also stole her mobile phone, after jettisoning the chip. Her body was found the following day by her son with 17 stab wounds and a pillow case wound around her neck.

He also confessed to the murder of Maryuri Alice P.G., say the police, a 47-year old women from Ecuador. It was the first time that he had arranged to meet her, and turned up at her home in San Pedro (Calle Jaen). According to his statement, this time he turned up carrying a knife and a length of rope, which he allegedly used to tie her up. Her body was found on the 10th of September with 13 knife wounds. He, again, took her credit cards and mobile.
