A 30-year-old man allegedly tried to sexually abuse a 19-year-old Swedish woman and then slit her throat – he also managed to wound the girl’s roommate. The incident took place in a hostel in Fuengirola.

Around four in the morning this Moroccan chap crossed the corridor and managed to get into the room (allegedly, remember) with the intention of carrying out the porn movie in his head, so to speak.

The girls fought back, one of whom received a gash to the neck, resulting in her subsequent death. The other girl received cuts to her hands and to her neck, but managed to run from the room and escape.

The aggressor was tackled and immobilised by the night porter and a trainee policeman for the Policía Nacional who just happened to be staying at the hostel, fortunately.
