Herradura’s First Annual Gastronomic Fair

The village celebrated its first Feria Gastronmica – Almunecar style – on 3rd, 4th and 5th of last month.

Considering that this tapa-cum-gourmet party was the first attempt, it didn’t go too badly, with dozens of people turning up and around 10 restaurant stalls.

The food was excellent and it wasn’t too difficult to get a table where you could enjoy your grub, either.

Both afternoon and evening sessions had live music, while the kiddies had their own corner with activities, games and monitors to keep and eye on them. The most heard complaint was that the venue wasn’t adequately sign posted, but let’s face it, it not as if La Herradura is a sprawling metropolis, is it? You would have had to be pretty bloody useless not to find it.
