The Unicef, fund-raising event took place in the Majuelo park on the 7th of May with around 200 people attending and getting stuck into Joaquim’s giant paella.

Approximately 800 euros was collected, which is destined for the victims of the Sumatra earthquake two years ago.

Unicef Almuñécar would like to express their gratitude to all those who collaborated in the event, especially Chamboa Joaquím.

I must remember to ask, Joaquím, one of these days, how many kilos (tonnes?) of Paella he has made over the years at these kinds of events.
