Another new addition to the village has been the Oficina Joven in the Centro Cívico.

The facility, which is open from 17.00h to 20.00h from Monday to Friday, has eighteen computers, all connected to Internet (ADSL), which should please the kids, who no longer have to make their way over to Almuñécar to get a free connection to the Net.

The department, which is situated on the second floor of the Centro Cívico has a budget of 24,000 euros… Why 24,000 and not 25,000? Because 24,000 is exactly four million bloody pesetas, that’s why!
