Benny isn’t very loquacious when it comes to answering questions, or that is what the leader of the PSOE claims, because the Mayor hasn’t bothered to answer any of the questions put to him, either in public or during a plenary meeting of the Town Council.
“We asked him a total of 14 pressing questions concerning the behaviour of the ruling party. They’re questions that the citizens, we feel, would like to know the answers to, such as concerning the 7-star-hotel project, work on which will begin next summer, according to the Mayor,” explained Francisco Prados, local leader of the PSOE. Another question was concerning the settlement of five year’s of outstanding IBI (local rates) payments that is being levied on some buildings. Another pressing question is what is going on with the new speed cameras in La Herradura and Almuñécar.
To all this, the Mayor, simple avoids answering questions, says Sr. Prados, even though they are made during a plenary meeting.
