(NW) Well what a successful afternoon was had at the Mirador de Cerro Gordo on Saturday 10th July.  The charity event was organised by Anne and Keith Harwood who raised a grand total of 2020 euros on the day, in aid of the Gastro-intestinal cancer fund. Anne would sincerely like to thank everyone who supported her charity and really appreciates all the help she received. The venue was spectacular; the weather was perfect and the music entertaining.
There were 23 promises on the day donated from local businesses, such as a romantic meal for two, an exciting skippering lesson, introductory try dives (which my kids have claimed) or a gentle massage. There was enough to satisfy all needs.
Alix from the Mirador was the auctioneer for the day, who bravely admitted that she had never been to an auction before, let alone been an auctioneer, with the help of Andy from Spectrum Satellite services, who possibly has! Well done guys, you did a fantastic job!
