The reason that there is still no bus station is, according to the Town Hall, a spot of post shuffling; or, if you prefer, councillors getting mixed up over who is supposed to be doing what on a regional level.
Regardless of this… setback, the Chairman for the Provincial Transport Board calculates that Salobreña’s long-awaited bus station will become ‘reality’ before the next municipal elections… Well, that is what the Councillor for the Economy and Tax Revenue, Juan de Dios Márquez claims the Chairman promised.
Let us hope that somebody, somewhere, discovers exactly what they are being paid for and gets their finger out – Amen.
