Work has commenced on the construction of a new sports centre in Las Maravillas, all financed by the Plan Proteja de la Junta de Andalucía. The centre will be built next to the square known locally as La Loma, and according to the Town Hall, “the project is in direct response to requests made by the Residence Association of Las Maravillas.”
The go ahead was given to three projects with funding from the Transición al Empleo de la Junta de Andalucia, with a total budget of 909,000 euros
