Water Troubles

They were really going loco down in Acapulco this summer, as residents of the popular urbanisation in Torrenuevas had been suffering frequent water cut-offs since the beginning of July.
Long queues down at the beach for showers, parents washing babies with mineral water and many having to wear the same pair of underpants twice, to name but a few of the inconveniences caused.
And as the heat rose and time passed, the situation got stickier and stickier for the water company, who blamed a lack of pressure in the pipes, much to the un-amusement of the neighbours, who simply blame them for not providing the service they pay for.
And then, as if by magic, one late sunny August day, (and coinciding with the departure of most of the tourists) the water pressure reappeared again and they all lived happily ever after. Until next year…
