Beware, the bogus gasman cometh! Seriously, we have had a report that someone has turned up at an elderly resident’s house claiming to be there on behalf of Butano, and that he needed to check the occupants appliances.
Our ‘spy’ contacted Butano, who say they never attend a private house unless requested to do so by the occupier. Therefore, the young chap in question was definitely up to no good.
So, be vigilant residents, and if any young men turn up asking to twiddle with your taps, tweak your nozzle, or fiddle with your outlet… don’t give ‘em the time of day, and contact the authrorities!
