Archery Champion

Showing great promise and amazing skill with his bow and arrow, Alvaro Salmeron, a local boy from Motril has been raising eyebrows on the international archery field. After competing in Poland with the Spanish national team alongside Madrilenos, Carlos Rivas and Jose Medrano, from the 11th to the 18th of May, Alvaro won five of his six duels and finished an impressive second overall.
Under his belt he has already claimed the title of Junior Champion at the World Archery Championships held in Turkey last October and National Junior Number One for Spain. Now he’s a force to be reckoned with amongst the big boys and we can expect to hear a lot more from this young man in the next couple of years.
