Iberia Takes on Low Cost Operators

The Spanish national airline, Iberia, has decided as far as low-cost operators go, if you can’t beat them, join them.

Ibería announced that it had ‘redesigned its prices on national and European routes to make them more attractive.’ The new ones, which came into force on the 31st of August, are aimed at travellers who will only be flying with hand luggage and whose prime reason for choosing one company or another is the price.

More info on the Iberia website because that’s enough free publicity for Iberia in the Gazette for the time being!
