Iberia has brought back into operation two early morning flights from Granada Airport to Madrid – they had been dropped during the pandemic.
The Minister of Industry, José Manuel Soria, has openly admitted that the merger between BA and Iberia was not “good.”
The Spanish national airline, Iberia, has decided as far as low-cost operators go, if you can’t beat them, join them.
The airline and the unions reached a deal on layoffs on Thursday the 14th and this agreement appears to be holding, so there will no more strike action.
Starting today Iberia workers are carrying out strike action until the 22nd of February. If their demands are not met, there will be further strike action from the 4th to the 8th of March and then from the 18th to the 22nd of the same month – a total of 15 days of stoppages.
Brace yourselves for industrial action by the Spanish national airline, Iberia, who have scheduled strike action for Friday the 14th and then from Monday the 17th through to Friday the 21st.
