Salobreña Wetland Project

The Town Hall has been working near the mouth of the Río Guadalfeo to both create a small wetland area and to eradicate the wild cane growing there.

Sunday saw volunteers clearing up the mouth of the Guadalfeo. The clean-up had been organised by the Asociación GN Medio Ambiente and Decathlon.

This weekend in Salobreña has a musical flavour down on the beach near the rivermouth at the municipal surfing school, Surf 18 Nudos.

The Mayor of Salobreña, Mª Eugenia Rufino Morales, is not a happy bunny over the recent fire, caused by an electricity pylon.
