
Farmers along the Río Verde vega in Almuñécar are fed up with waiting on administrations to sort out the water-table crisis in the valley.
According to the Councillor for Agriculture at the Almuñécar Town Hall, the Junta has ordered them to stop clearing the rivers of vegetation.
The heavy rains on Monday the 6th around ten in the morning affected both Almuñécar and La Herradura.
