Fuentes Fire

An intense blaze broke out in the undergrowth near the Urbanización Fuentes de Almuñécar, which is near Urbanización Citasol, Taramay. Around 150 metres of brush and undergrowth went up in flames around midnight during last week.

Another Lucky Escape

Eighteen passengers, most of whom were university students, managed to escape from a bus that had caught fire not far from Órgiva. The incident managed to freeze the traffic on the main Alpujarra road that runs between Órgiva and Trevélez.
