The Almunecar fire service will be receiving another toy to their vehicle collection, which is a 3,000-litre bowser/fire engine.

The ex-councillor for Seguridad Ciudidana, Mª Dolores Sánchez announced, however, that it wouldn’t be handed over until September, for reasons that were not made clear, but probably has something to do with legal paperwork.

The vehicle, which cost 260,000 euros, is manufactured by Mercedes and has a 4×4 capacity, carries a portable generator and cutting tools to free people trapped in road accidents, as well as a telescopic ladder with a reach of eight metres.
