Nurse Mugged on House Call

A female nurse from the medical centre in Cartuja, Granada was mugged by a group of young men as she left the home of an out patient in the north of the city, infamous for its high rate of crime.

Panic on the Bus

There was consternation, if not outright panic, on a municipal bus in Granada when one of the passengers began to threaten fellow passengers with a knife.

Six Years for Double Kidnapping

The eight people that confessed to kidnapping a woman and her stepson have accepted the six-year prison sentence for each of them. The Public Prosecutor had originally recommended a 21-year sentence for two of them but a deal was struck with the defence lawyer.
