Oleaje on Playa Granada

The Mayor, Luisa García Chamorro, has visited Oleaje Playa Granada, which is a ‘leisure and gastronomic complex’ and has come away impressed. She considers that this new venture will “a reference point for tourism,” and will “contribute to expanding the touristic offer and services,” in Motril.

Drugs in the Motril Cemetery

The Policía Nacional arrested three people in Motril allegedly belonging to a drug-trafficking gang, operating on the Costa Tropical. Those arrested are two men and a woman, aged 46, 45 and 32 years of age.

A man in Motril – it just had to be Motril – was given a year’s, suspended, prison sentence for having bitten a doctor’s buttocks, whilst being treated. This happened back in 2008 but has only just reached trial and sentencing.
