A 68-year-old man called Frederick Hengl was arrested in Oceanside, San Diego, recently and charged with the murder of his wife. His arrest took place in a local bar, as police had just been to his house after reports of a disgusting smell emanating from the premises. On climbing through a window the first officer on the scene found several body parts cooking on the stove and a severed head in the freezer.
