Officers belonging to the Policía Nacional arrested a 36-year-old man in Ronda (Málaga) for allegedly blackmailed men by threatening to distribute compromising images of them entering a brothel.

The arrested man reportedly headed a sexual-exploitation ring involving images from the clubs’ video surveillance systems to threaten clients caught entering these businesses, demanding money in exchange for not publishing the content online,

The names of club regulars were leaked on social media (including individuals who had never visited the establishments; i.e. had not entered but had passed by the entrance) causing quite a stir in the local community.

The case began with a single victim going to the police followed by more victims coming forward.
