Flamboyant Café-Pastelería in Dúrcal

Flamboyant is a very popular café and pastry establishment, whose name comes from a French word meaning resplendent, and refers to a beautiful tree also known as the flame tree due to the intense red colour of its flowers.

Flamboyant has been in existence for over 40 years so it is a well established, offering traditional, handcrafted baking, without leaving aside the use of the most innovative and avant-garde pastry techniques.

They have 18 types of tradition cakes and buns, a large variety of soufflés, as well as offering birthday & wedding cakes by order. They even will put your logo on a cake for company events!

You can find them on the main thoroughfare at the bottom end of town, easily recognisable by its pillared porch. The coffee is excellent, the service is rapid, professional and friendly and you’ll probably need to stay in their guesthouse accommodation above them, if you let your sweet tooth get the best of you because there is just too much to choose from!
