Public buildings and property continus to attract vandalic acts in Salobreña, according to the Town Hall, which considers it a “real nightmare.”

Street lighting, street furniture (benches & litter bins), traffic and street signs have been the target of mindless destruction. In fact, the latest target has been the  entrance to the Auditorio Villa de Salobreña.

The Public Works and Urban Development Department at the Town Hall, which has the task of repairing all this damage, describes this vandalism as a lack of civility (public-minded spirit).

These acts are costing the Town Hall a great deal of money, which we all, in Salobreña, end up paying,” said the Councillor..
