Eight people were injured on Tuesday in a road accident between two cars on the N-340, amongst the four minors.

The emergency coordination centre received the first call around 20.20h to report a lateral collision between Calahonda and Castell de Ferro. They despatched a 061 ambulance, the Guardia Civil traffic police and a road-maintenance crew.

The paramedics attended to four minors between the ages of 10 and 17 at the scene before taking the four adults and four minors to Hospital Santa Ana in Motril.
