A 17-year-old Norwegian girl went missing early yesterday morning in the Puerto Banús area of Marbella.

Nikoline had gone out with other Norwegian friends to celebrate Norway’s football victory in the World Cup. She is on holiday on the Costa del Sol and was to return home the next day.

The family reported her disappearance yesterday morning to the Policía Nacional in Fuengirola. According to her mother, Nikoline and several friends met at a bar located in the Calahonda area of Mijas. After the match, around 01:00h, the group ordered an Uber taxi to head to the old town of Marbella. There, they met up with other young Norwegians, and they all travelled together by taxi to a nightclub in Puerto Banús.

Sometime between 03:00h and 4:00h a friend of the teenager went to the venue’s bathroom, and when she returned, Nikoline had gone, explained the mother.

The last phone location put here at 3. 30h on Avenida Julio Iglesias, just a metres from the nightclub. However, her mobile phone stopped emitting a signal, and her friend could not contact her; neither could her family.

So what does Nikoline look like? she’s 1.75m in height and has long, blonde hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a long pink dress.
