Fire personnel managed to save the life of a man and his two dogs in a house fire in Morelábor (Granada) on Calle Lepanto.
The fire broke out just after 16.00h yesterday, leaving the sitting room and kitchen completely gutted by the flames and the rest of the house seriously smoke damaged.

The 73-year-old man had to be rescued by the Provincial Fire Brigade and was transferred to a local Centro de Salud suffering from smoke inhalation.
Likewise, firefighters also pulled his two dogs from the house in flames. Both animals are safe.
Both the fire personnel and the Guardia Civil stayed at the scene all afternoon; the former dousing everthing down, and the Guardia Civil making sure that nobody tried to enter.
