The Chairman of the Mancomunidad, Rafael Caballero, had a word with the Mayor of Lentegí, Juan Manuel Arellano Fajardo and his Councilor, Marino Fajardo Aneas about their springs
The visit was about the upgrading of the village’s springs that supply the municipal water needs. Aguas y Servicios, will adapt the system to state regulations concerning water quality for human consumption.

They are going to install a filtration system for small natural springs, incorporating micro-filtration & control equipment designed to reduce cloudiness and water quality in general.
Chairman Caballero said that the Mancomunidad needed to meet the Royal Decree 2023 requirements, just as has it had done in neighbouring Otívar.
He did go on a bit about how efficient the Mancomunidad is and how they are striving to make everybody’s drinking water safer. However, he didn’t mention sewage, which is another responsibility of the Mancomunidad, especially the fact that the village isn’t connected a sewage-treatment plant.
