Thanks to a budge of 20,000 euros, the facilitiy is crammed with nearly a dozen outdoor exercise apparatus, all designed to pull a muscle – just joking!

The Councilor for Beaches, Lucía González, pointed out that not only very handy but easily accessible and that providing such a beach facility had been a top priority for her department.

“We are placing great emphasis on making everything fully accessible, especially with our seniors in mind. This facility is designed so that anyone, regardless of age or mobility, can exercise outdoors with sea views,” she beemed.

Now, the one that already existed was simply set out on the sand but this one has platform base, to make it easier for people with mobility problems so no more scenes of Beau Geste crawling over the sand to reach salvation.

But it was not only about people with mobility problems that tipped the decision not to put it on sand, as the Councillor explained, “Everything next to the sea gets damaged sooner, and on top of that, if it is on sand, the rotating parts get sand inside and fail more often.”

It was for this very reason that the other bio-healty park was dismantled having suffered considerable deterioration.
