Work being carried out on the Camino Gambullón that connects the new Centro de Salud to La Caleta is nearing conclusion, the Mayor says.
The section that has been widened is from the roundabout on the TH1 to La Guardia and now they are concentrating on marking out the pedestrian path along it.

The path is on the same level as the lane itself but is separated by a line of wooden posts and will be painted a different colour to the surface of the road. There will also be benches on the left-hand side (facing the sea).
The widening of the lane means that it has been increased from four metres wide to six metres, giving the lane enough width to have 2-way traffic, as well as a 2.5m pedestrian path.
It will all be finished off with street lighting, road signage and a crash barrier on the side where there is an irrigation ditch running alongside.
