The Policía Nacional have arrested and deported from the country a repeat offender who had been causing a lot of problems in Torre del Mar and Vélez-Málaga in the Axarquía.
The sort of behaviour that got him kicked out was wanton damage to parked cars and generally being aggressive and obscene.

The 45-year-old man is a Romanian citizen who has been living in that area since 2021 and when we say aggressive behaviour, we mean alleged muggings, intimidation, burglary, vandalism, and other offences.
The Brigada Local de Extranjería y Fronteras based at the Vélez-Málaga police station had been onto him since October so that he could be arrested and kicked out.
It wasn’t easy to deport him because he had open cases in law courts in Vélez-Málaga, the city of Málaga and even Barcelona. For this reason they had to get permission from each one of the law courts to send him back to Romania without undergoing trial here.
