Río Dúrcal, where it passes through its namesake, has broken out of its riverbanks and is threatening the old Roman Bridge.
In reality, although it is popularly called it a ‘Roman’ bridge,’ it really just dates back to the Middle Ages but even so, it is one fo the town’s monuments, along with the Puente de Lata, which is the old tramway viaduct.

The amount of water coming down from the Sierra Nevada, thanks to the constant rain melting the snow, is impressive and the person featured in the video, (the author of which is unknown and was passed to us via Whatsapp) is standing periously close to the water’s edge, perhaps.
