The gale didn't just blow things over on land along the coast yesterday, because it also washed a narco-RIB up onto La Herradura beach as well.

According to the Guardia Civil, two RIBs were spotted out in the bay and they immediately activated a unit to investigate. One RIB managed to avoid being swept up onto the beach but the other was not so lucky and ended up in front of Chiringuito Bambu. Nobody was onboard, though.

Both RIBs had decided to shelter in the bay from the storm but one must have had difficulties because the crew transferred to the other craft.

There is no further information at the moment on the second RIB; whether it got away was intercepted by a Guardia Civil launch.
