The 21st edition of the Seaside Gazette Bridge Trophy; a match between the bridge players of Nerja and Almuñécar, was held on the 13th of December in hotel Arrayanes, Almuñécar.
Eight pairs from each town sat down at the tables to once again decide which municipality will hold the bragging rights for the year to come.

Almuñécar won the cup last year, and Sexi Firmum once more proved to be the home of the sharpest brains on the costa. The overall score read Almuñécar 184 – Nerja 149, with the “great Danes” Søren Karkov and Peter Egeriis as overall winners with a score of 63,9 %.
The organisers, Mirta, Willem and Gordon from Costa Tropical Bridge Club would like to thank all the players from Nerja for turning up again to get butchered, the staff at Hotel Arrayanes and of course the Seaside Gazette for a terrific tournament!
Do You Want to Learn Bridge?

As they old joke goes – Bridge is a great comfort in old age. It also helps you get there faster!
