We ran an article on Thursday about a woman who had allegedly received an electric shock the day before and had suffered a heart attack, requiring her admission to an ICU.
Well, since then, some points have been cleared up. Firstly, she was with her mother at the time and that they were not tourists but locals who occasionally used the spa.

It was the mother and a hotel employee who first attended to the victim and who had phoned in the accident to the Emergency Coordination Centre, 112.
Since the incident, she has been transferred from the ICU to a hospital ward. Apart from the cardiac arrest, she also has a burn on a finger tip – she had pressed a button to activate the bubble function, which is when the accident reportedly occurred.
The Deputy, Government Delegate for Granada, José Antonio Montilla, explained that the investigation into the incident is now focused on determining the causes of the incident, which appears to have been an accident.

The incident occurred on the premises of Hotel Villa Oniria where the management’s official response was that the “guest suffered a fainting spell” for unknown reasons and that they themselves had alerted emergency services (061), who took her “Conscious, to the hospital for further observation.”
