A Gazette reader in Maro writes in to explain about a charity meal in Nerja in aid of

Hi Martin,

I’ve got another possible piece of news for you, if you’re interested: yesterday l went to the charity gala in Onas Marina in Nerja, supporting El taller de La Amistad.

A total of 200 people paid 40 euros for a 3-course meal (fabulous food) and unlimited drinks, there was a raffle with around 50 prizes, live music.

The biker club, Hermanos del Silencio presented a gift, emphasising their bond with the project, El taller de La Amistad.

It was a great event!
