The yearly, Andrés Segovia Classical Guitar Competition will be held from November 25th to 29th at the Centro Cívico in La Herradura.
The XL (40th) Certamen Internacional de Guitarra Clásica Andrés Segovia, with 17 guitarists from 13 countries from Europe and Asia making it truly international and also one of the top such competitions in the world.

The performers, all under 35, come from: South Korea, Spain, Russia, Germany, Austria, Japan, Italy-Albania, China, Croatia, Greece, Germany, Ukraine, and Italy, among others.
“We can proudly say that La Herradura will host one of the world’s finest, classical-guitar competitions this year. The name of Andrés Segovia continues to attract top, international talents and project our town onto the global stage,” says Elena Mora, event coordinator for the La Herradura, Vice-Mayor’s Office.
Throughout its four decades of history, the Andrés Segovia International Classical Guitar Competition has established itself as a leading platform for discovering new talent and launching their careers. Many of the winners and finalists from previous editions are now internationally renowned concert artists, making this competition a true professional springboard.
