A British man in his 30s has been hospitalised after falling a couple of metres when his partner allegedly pushed during a heated argument.

The incident took place in Benalmádena Thursday evening and was followed by the arrest of the woman at the hotel where they had been staying.

As a result of the fal,l he lost consciousness owing to head injuries and the ambulance rushed him to the Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Victoria (Clínico).

As for the woman, also British and in her 30s, after pushing him, she reportedly marched off and left him there. Although she was arrested by the Policía Local, the case is now in the hands of the Policía Nacional.
