One homeowner on Calle Macizo in Gredos (Valladolid) is selling his house for 107,000 euros, which is below market price, but it comes with a squatter included.
This is where the price reduction for the property comes in, given the obligation to pay more than €100,000 in cash, which also includes the possibility of a future eviction… for the squatter, not the prospective homeowner.

“As a general rule, foreclosure proceedings begin, and the eviction would start after the sale. It’s done through a legal process,” explained the Madrid-based real estate agency La Agencia del Barrio, which is handling the future purchase.
According to this real-estate agent, they have had several people interested although nothing has materialised as yet. They say that this is normal in this kind of operation, requiring time and a good cushion of money on the buyers part.
The dwelling, a chalet, was built in the year 2000 with a build area of 125 sq/m divided between two floors. As for what this kind of dwelling goes for in the area where it is, you’re looking at over 300,000 euros, apparently.
Editorial comment: perhaps you could take on the squatters as live-in domestic servants? 😉
