Targeting The Desperate

A supposed clairvoyant/healer allegedly swindled a desperate woman, suffering from cancer, out of 70,000 euros.

The Policía Nacional arrested the female suspect in Alcázar de San Juan (Ciudad Real) which is a town of some 31,000 inhabitants.

The victim, who is going through a very tough time with tumours in her breast and uterus, contacted the other woman via Internet, who offered to cure her of cancer, taking advantage of her complete desperation.

In order to bring about the ‘cure,’ she informed her victim that she would need several sessions, costing thousands of euros each.

No content with this deception, she then allegedly threatened the victim, who had been reluctant to continue, by taking vengeance on her and her family, using her ‘powers,’ it appears.

Scared that the ‘healer’ would carry out her threat, she put in for bank loans in order to continue paying her.

Fortunately, the suspect was arrested by the police who knew her as there had been previous complaints made by other clients who had reached her via Internet.

In the paper edition, which comes out next week, there is an article about a male healer who told his female victims that he had to have sex with them in order for the spirit that guided him to enter into their bodies…
