A barn full of stacked hay bales went up in flames in La Atalaya, Cañete la Real, Malaga, which was the second fire in the province on Thursday.

Fire personnel from the Campillos, Ronda and Algatocín fire stations worked to put the blaze out from 17.50h on Thursday. The firefighters had their work cut out for them, as can been seen in the accompanying photo, keeping the fire from spread to the exterior and other nearby storage units.

The other fire, declared at 14.00h, was near Urbanización La Alzambra in Nueva Andalucía (Marbella), which was brought under control in around an hour, thanks to fire personnel from the Bomberos de Marbella.

They provided five firefighting vehicles, backed my ground personnel and helicopters belonging to Infoca.
