We have all become tired of a barrage of calls from unknown numbers from telephone companies making illegal unsolicited calls to scam calls, so we don't answer them.

Trouble is, it may be your doctor, which is why the Servicio Andaluza de Salud had changed to just one number, no matter where you live in Andalucia: 955 800 008. Before, if you are living in Granada it was a 958 number, etc.

If you make an appointment online with your doctor, you have a choice of two ways to do it; a telephone call from him or her, or a visit to the doctor’s surgery. So, if you choose the first, be alert for an incoming call from this above number.

It would make good sense for the Government to clamp down on spam and scam calls, but that appears unlikely, unfortunately.
