Almuñécar Town Hall has just finished improvements to its Casa de La Cultura that had a budget of 9,000 euros.
Apparently, most of it has been about applying a floor-shine treatment in the whole of the basement levels, including the exhibition halls, the Plenary-Meeting Room and adjacent rooms.

Further down, in the cinema-cum-theatre (where Plenary Council Meetings are also held) the whole of the stage area has been repainted.
The Councillor for the Maintenance Department, Fran Rodríguez, said, “We have been able to treat the floor to give it a shine finish… …We are very happy to be able to carry out improvements of this kind so that they can be enjoyed by residents and visitors.”
The Councillor for Culture, García Gilabert, said that the Casa de La Cultura is the “heart of our cultural agenda” and that it needed these improvements so that members of the public, associations and artists could better enjoy the installations.
