Little information is available still but around 01.30h this morning Infoca were called out to tackle a fire in the Los Guájares area.

Ground units backed by two, all-terrain, fire trucks were despatched and then as soon as it was light enough, aircraft were also sent in. By 08.00h this morning eight ground units were deployed on the Guájar-Faragüit hillside.

A little later Infoca declared that the fire was estabilizado, meaning that it was contained; i.e. not spreading further.

Update: Infoca declared the fire as completely out at 13.00 the same day.
