Salobreña is holding the Festival Mundial de Foodtruck for the first time, which is planned from the 17th to the 20th of this month.

The event will take place in the Parque La Fuente and could bring as many as 14 foodtrucks offering cuisine from Cuba, Venezuela, Italy, Mexico, Argentina and the USA.

The event, which has free entrance, will also include live music and activities for children over the course of the long weekend. Of course, there will be table & chairs, areas of shade and a bar.

On the last day, Sunday, there will be a competition to select the best foodtruck, which will receive a trophy.

Normally, the Festival Mundial de Foodtrucks is held in provincial capitals or large cities that provide a series of requisites needed by the organisers. Other cities that have hosted the event are Cádiz, Almería, Jaén, Cáceres, Jerez de la Frontera and several others.
