Fancy a spot of work as an extra in a film? Well, they're after 500 extras for a film being shot in Alquife (Granada) and in the province of Almería, as well.

The casting will be held on Saturday the 28th from 09.30h to 19.30h in the Edificio Blas Infante (municipal warehouse) in Alquife (near Guadix) on Calle San Hermenegildo.

You’re too old? Nope! They want people between the ages of 16 and 80, so no problem! And yes you will get paid because it will be a porn film… just kidding, but you will get paid.

So what are they looking for? Well (and here it could get tricky): you have to look swarthy Spanish or North African and/or Gypsy.

Don’t panic! Because the other kind of extras involves only men with a military background. Pity, I’m ex military and in my younger years, according to a Guardia Civil officer in a passport booth at Málaga Airport in the 80’s, he said I looked like a Gypsy.

OK, so, I guess they’re not looking for tall Scandinavians nor carrot-top Irish folk nor pasty looking typists from Birmingham (Monty Python quote), so it’s no good spraying on a tan, doning a moustach and sporting the Mexican hat that you bought in Ibiza

Anyway the filming will take place in August and October. The Casting Agency Ana Durá has worked with Netflix, Amazon, Movistar, AppleTV, HBO and Disney, by the way.
