Regular Santander Flights?

The Regional Government of Cantabria (northern coast) wants to improve flights between Santander's Seve Ballesteros Airport and Granada Airport throughout the year.

Their aim is for this air route between the capital of Cantabria and Granada that only operates during the summer to be extended all year round.

In other words, they want to increse the 26 flights now available during July and August to a total of 120 throughout the year with two flights a week (that’s probably one each way).

The Tourism Board for Cantabria, CANTUR, wants to put out to tender promotional and marketing campaigns on airlines targeting the Granada market.

The Minister of Tourism for Cantabria, Luis Martínez Abad, has highlighted the importance of expanding the connection with the province of Granada and noted that this represents a “great opportunity” for Cantabria’s tourism objectives.
