A man was arrested in a hotel in Mijas after it was found that he had an illegal quantity of hashish on him, distributed for sale, but that was the least of his problems...
His real problems started when he offered the two Guardia Civil officers 10,000 euros each if they let him go. His problems only but grew when it was discovered that he was using a forged passport…

It was the hotel manager who tipped off the police after the cleaning staff found the man’s stash, who reported it to hotel security.
When the officers arrived, the man was not in the hotel and when they were let into his room they saw that there was eight packages of hashish on the bedside table.
So, they decided to wait until he returned. As soon as he opened his door he was pounced upon and arrested.
Apart from the false passport, the hashish and 1,930 euros in cash, he also had in his possession a surprising quantity of bad luck…
